SOBRE JORGE JIMÉNEZ
Jorge está trabajando para reducir las desigualdades, la ineficiencia y la falta de efectividad en el tratamiento de pacientes con hipertensión y/o diabetes en Santa Ana. El proyecto consiste en crear un software para apoyar y rastrear a los pacientes con hipertensión y diabetes a través de una intervención focalizada. Los datos recopilados sobre pacientes individuales y grupos de pacientes ayudarán a diseñar e implementar estrategias o políticas de salud para mejorar la esperanza de vida y la calidad de vida de los pacientes.
Los elementos clave del proyecto son aumentar la cobertura y el acceso a los servicios de salud, reducir la inequidad y mejorar la eficiencia y la efectividad. El aspecto innovador de este proyecto es incorporar el componente de investigación centrado en las poblaciones grupales. Este proyecto también será informado por la participación ciudadana y la comprensión de la satisfacción del paciente.
ABOUT JORGE JIMÉNEZ
Jorge is working to reduce inequities, inefficiency, and lack of effectiveness in treatment for patients with hypertension and/or diabetes in Santa Ana. The project involves creating a software to support and track hypertension and diabetes patients through a focused intervention. Data collected about individual patients and groups of patients will help to design and implement strategies or health policies to improve the patients’ life expectancy and quality of life.
The key elements of the project are increasing the coverage and access to health services, reducing the inequity, while improving efficiency and effectiveness. The innovative aspect of this project is incorporating the research component focused on the group populations. This project will also be informed by citizen participation and an understanding of patient satisfaction.
