DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO
Durante el programa CAHI Fellows implementó un proyecto que brindará acceso a contenido actualizado sobre manejo de pacientes con lesiones precancerosas de cáncer Cervicouterino, dirigido al personal de salud del primer nivel de atención mediante una plataforma online de autoaprendizaje. El proyecto es clave para mejorar el flujo de atención de las más de 1600 mujeres que anualmente son diagnosticadas con lesiones precursoras de cáncer y reducir el número de diagnóstico de cáncer avanzado por falta de seguimiento y tratamiento.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
During the CAHI Fellows program, I implemented a project that will provide access to updated content on the management of patients with precancerous lesions of cervical cancer. The content will be aimed at primary care health personnel through an online self-learning platform. The project is key to improving the care and follow-up for the more than 1,600 women who are annually diagnosed with pre-cancerous lesions and reduce the number of advanced cancer diagnoses due to lack of follow-up and treatment.
